In 2010, PHP 200,000 (roughly $4,000 USD) was donated to the Community in order to develop a business. The money was used to purchase various products such as rice, school supplies, canned food, and every day household supplies from local wholesalers. Every year, one of the Community's residents is appointed as storekeeper and sells these products out of one of the duplexes. In 2013, the Community Store's success has earned back the PHP 200,000 initially donated and will be used to future livelihood projects.
